Becky Reyes: Bio

Becky Reyes - Singer/songwriter

Becky Reyes has been performing publicly since 1988. She started after being mentored for two years by Todd Stratton. Her first gig was in a tiny little bar at the Naples Hotel in Naples, NY. Soon after, she was playing at restaurants, coffee houses, and was a regular for 4 years at the Thomas Homestead Festival in the Finger Lakes area of New York, where she opened for Connie Kaldor, Odetta and Rosalie Sorrels. During that time she also opened for David Mallett at one of the Strong venues in Rochester, NY.
Becky moved to Southeastern Arizona in 1996. She lives just outside of Bisbee with her husband Scott and their child, Gilbert.

Scott Muhleman - Blues Harp/Husband

Becky's husband, Scott Muhleman, plays back-up and leads for her. Scott is an excellent blues harpman. He was mentored by DC Minner, and has played with Luther Jackson, Poppa Chubby, Tommy Patterson, Buzz Pearson, and Cat Crosby. He also sat in with Nappy Brown, Luther Allison, Johnny Nitro and the Door Slammers, Bart Ryan and many others. He has been playing blues harp since at least 1970. When he was a pre-teen, he was in a garage band with his school-mate Philo Cramer who went on to become the lead guitarist (and favorite audience antagonist) for the punk band Fear. Scott recently decided to gig with Becky to expand his repertoire. His style is straight-up and polished with an everpresent touch of the blues which lends itself beautifully to Becky's clean vocals and guitar work.
